Empowering Students Through Service

Meaningful service integrated into the curriculum

Service Learning gives students an opportunity to gain important character traits, such as leadership and perseverance, while serving their community. Students learn to assess needs and reflect on their work in real world situations, and are actively involved in planning and carrying out service and reflecting on successes.

Students in Kindergarten through eighth-grade participate in Service Learning through standards-based modules and expeditions, while sixth-grade students participate in our Capstone Year of Service.

Other school programs such as Discovery, fifth-grade hands-on service, and school- wide service days include additional opportunities for students to serve. Afterschool service clubs and family service nights also reinforce the Entheos commitment to do our part in the community and change the world one student at a time.
