Biography

Mrs. Mendisabal's favorite EL Design Principle is “Service and Compassion”. She believes that when a person looks outside of themselves to serve others, their heart opens and their capacity to love grows. She knows that helping others builds a brighter community. She is passionate about teaching and learning, and sees it is as a life-long pursuit. Mrs. Mendisabal was born and raised in New Zealand but has lived in Utah for the past 18 years. Her favorite hobby is reading, and she looks for any opportunity she can to get lost within the pages of a good book. Her favorite authors are JK Rowling and Jane Austen. Mrs. Mendisabal attended Auckland University and is currently enrolled at Western Governors University.
