Jaren Gibson

Board Chair

Jaren Hunter Gibson graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelors Degree in Communications.  He’s been a business manager most of his career and is President of The Grace Company where he’s worked for 20 years.  He and his wife Stephanie, along with their good friends, Monty and Susan Hardy, created Entheos Academy beginning in 2003.  Jaren and Stephanie are the parents of 8 children.  Jaren loves to read, especially historical non-fiction and biographies, and is also an avid fan of baseball.

Annette Barney

Board Secretary

Annette has worked with Entheos Academy since 2016.  She comes to Entheos after years of service to Channing Hall Charter School in Draper, UT, including the founding years.  She brings to the board her experience as a previous board secretary, annual giving adviser and paraeducator.  Annette is a graduate of Brigham Young University.  When not supporting education, she can be found blogging, doing yoga, folding origami or traveling with her family.

Alisha Cartier

Board Member

Alisha Cartier has been a member of the board since 2011 and is also a founding member of the Magna campus.  She was a student representative for the school board her senior year of high school.  She served as a member of the service committee at Utah Valley State College, and as an assistant director her 2nd year.  She graduated with an associates degree in Multimedia.  She has also served in various capacities with her church, working with both adults and youth.  She and her husband have lived in Magna for over 9 years and have 4 children.

Stephanie Gibson

Board Member

Stephanie Bagley Gibson grew up in Northern Utah, graduating from Roy High school.  She obtained her Associates Degree from Weber State University.   She became interested in education as a young mother of 4 and she and her husband Jaren, began working with good friends, Susan and Monty Hardy, to create a better education for their children.  In 2003 they formed a Board and created the Entheos Charter.  Stephanie is now a mother of 8 children who all love Entheos.  In her spare time she studies nutrition, back yard beekeeping, organic gardening, choral directing, and loves to read.  She’s been a voice instructor and currently teaches whole foods cooking classes.

Kathy E. Larrabee

Board Member

Kathy works for the United Police Department of Greater Salt Lake. She is an avid supporter of developing the leaders of tomorrow through her work with the Kearns Youth Council and loves the passion, encouraging atmosphere of Entheos. She is a mother, wife and grandmother and voracious learner.

Adriane Olsen

Board Member

Adriane Olsen joined the Entheos School Board in 2016.  She was previously a 4th grade teacher at Entheos-Magna for 2 years and 1 week — up until the day she had her first baby.  Before working at Entheos, she was a VISTA member at Bridger Elementary in Logan, Utah. Adriane is a graduate of Utah State University (Go Aggies!) where she majored in elementary education and minored in mathematics.  Her career uniquely positions her to understand the needs of Entheos and embrace service learning. When not chasing an active baby, she enjoys crafting and watching sit-coms with her husband.

Nathan Pilcher

Board Member

Nate is a graduate of the University of Utah. He currently works as Director of Business Development for Easton Technical Products, a local archery and sporting goods manufacturer. He brings to the Entheos Board marketing, event planning and public relations experience. Nate has lived in Magna for 11 years, and has participated in the Magna community through religious service and is currently serving on the Magna Planning and Zoning commission. He is a husband and father of four, a keeper of bees, cows, rabbits and chickens and enjoys home improvement, gardening and woodworking.

Xazmin Prows

Board Member

Xazmin is a Utah native and a founding member of Entheos Academy. She values education for all children and especially wants to see that each child is challenged in the way that best suits them. Her dedication to Entheos is proven by her years of service to the school and all of her 5 children have or do attend the school. Aside from her time with schools she supports concussion awareness.
